• APPLICATION: Metacaulk Cover Guard is a 1-piece fire-rated gasket for meeting the "24-in rule" in electrical boxes; when exposed to heat, intumescent material expands/ forms a char to seal opening, prevent flame spread, and limit heat transfer to unexposed areas
• EASY TO USE: Mounted on inside of cover plate and installed simultaneously; covers the opening and provides fire protection; applied by hand and saves space in the electrical box
